Decision Review · €199 one time
One assumption, one evidence review, one result that stays put
A Foundry Decision Review is a startup evidence review of a single assumption. You pay €199 once, submit the assumption and your evidence in a structured form, and a fixed deterministic policy returns Build, Iterate, Kill or Abstain with its reasons and the next evidence step. The result is stored and you can return to it.
What one review covers
- One assumption. A single, clearly scoped claim about a customer and a problem. Not a business plan, and not several ideas at once.
- One payment. €199, taken by Stripe. One payment pays for exactly one review.
- Structured evidence. You classify each piece of evidence yourself: what the person did, how you reached them, their relationship to you, whether it is current, and when you collected it. Foundry does not guess a classification from prose.
- A fixed policy. The same versioned rules run on every review. No model chooses the outcome.
- One stored result. The outcome, the reasons, and the policy version are saved with your input. Submitting again returns the same review; it is not re-run.
What the result contains
- The outcome: Build, Iterate, Kill or Abstain.
- Why: the reasons the policy gave.
- An evidence-quality audit of every item you submitted.
- Contradictions you recorded, and whether they count as repeated.
- Unresolved conditions: what has not been shown yet.
- Falsifier status: whether it was written down before you collected evidence.
- Evidence limitations, and the decision risk the policy enforced.
- The next best evidence step.
- The policy version and the evaluation time.
Read the outcome for what it is
| Outcome | It means | It does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| Build | The evidence for this assumption clears the bar for its risk level, so a bounded next step is justified. | Your startup will succeed. You have product-market fit. |
| Iterate | Not yet. Something specific is still unresolved, and the result names it. | A consolation prize, or a polite no. |
| Kill | This assumption, as currently framed, does not justify more commitment. | Abandon the company, or stop being a founder. |
| Abstain | The question or the evidence is not usable enough for an honest call. | A system error. |
What you need before you start
- One assumption you can state in a sentence.
- At least one piece of evidence you can attribute to a real person or company.
- An idea of what would prove the assumption wrong, and roughly when you decided that.
Weak evidence is still usable. Foundry will tell you what it does and does not support.
