About
A reviewer on the founder’s side
Foundry is an evidence auditor for founders. It tells you what your current evidence actually justifies — and what it does not — before you commit more time or money.
Why it exists
Early evidence is easy to over-read. A dozen warm conversations feel like proof, and the cost of acting on them is months of building. Foundry keeps five things apart that tend to blur together:
- what a founder hopes is true,
- what customers said,
- what customers did,
- what customers committed,
- what customers paid.
It never rewards the volume of enthusiasm over the quality of evidence. It is candid, and it is on your side: its job is to save you from building on something that has not been shown yet.
What Foundry is, exactly
- An evidence auditor: it answers what your current evidence justifies.
- Deterministic: a fixed, versioned policy produces the outcome.
- Able to say “not yet”, and able to abstain.
- Not an idea score, and not a predictor of startup success or product-market fit.
- Not a research repository, a survey tool or a customer-interview platform.
- Not a coaching chatbot or a general AI assistant.
